Sebastien Le Goff wins Sommelier of Year Vancouver, BC (March 4, 2006) – The Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival is pleased to announce that Sebastien Le Goff, restaurant director and sommelier at CinCin Ristorante & Bar in Vancouver, has won the BCRFA/ISG Sommelier of the Year Award. Le Goff receives a Trade Super Pass, valued at $290, to the 2007 festival. The award was presented Thursday at the Wines of France-sponsored “Partners in Wine: A Lunch with Alsace and Rhône,” one of 52 events at the 28th annual Playhouse Winefest. The seven-day festival wraps on Sunday. Past recipients of the award, in descending order, Tom Doughty, Mark Taylor, Barb Philip, Peter Bodnar, Mark Davidson and Brent Hayman.
